‘The Masked Singer’ Teases Star-Studded Season 14 in New Preview

The Masked Singer is preparing for its big return for Season 14 in January, and the show has shared a teaser giving fans a sneak peek at some of the contestants. It sounds like the cast for this season is pretty star-studded.
The Masked Singer Teases Season 14 in New Preview
The new preview includes several clips from the upcoming new season of The Masked Singer, while sharing the combined accolades of the mysterious contestants in the competition. That includes 94 million records sold, 21 platinum singles, three Emmy wins, three hall-of-famers, and three World Series wins.
The preview also notes that this season’s contestants boast a combined 54 million Instagram followers. It sounds like fans can expect to see some pretty big stars during this season as each contestant is unmasked to reveal their famous identity.
The new teaser also gives us a sneak peek at some of this season’s costumes. Although the official names for these characters have yet to be revealed, some of the featured costumes look like they could be the planet Saturn, a black cat, a large bird of some kind, a Welsh Corgi, a construction robot, a stingray, an eggplant, a gold carrot, and a pair of croissants.
There is also a brief clip of the contestant in the Saturn costume performing “Try” by Pink. They sound like they have a great voice, so it will be interesting to learn more about them.

When Does the New Season Premiere?
The Masked Singer Season 14 is set to kick off with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, January 7, on FOX. Longtime host Nick Cannon will be back to emcee the new competition, and the familiar panel of judges will also be returning.
Original panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, and Ken Jeong will be back at the desk, along with Rita Ora, who is entering her fourth season as a judge after replacing Nicole Scherzinger in Season 11 of the show.
