‘The Masked Singer’ Recap: Lambs Earn a Spot in the Semifinals on ’90s Night
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Masked Singer Season 8 returned Sunday for ’90s Night, which also happened to be the show’s 100th episode. Reigning Queens the Lambs went up against Walrus and Milkshake and ended up keeping their crowns to make it to the Semifinals.
That meant that Walrus and Milkshake were unmasked during the new episode. They turned out to be TV star Joey Lawrence and NFL star Le’Veon Bell.
Lambs Move on to Semifinals on ‘The Masked Singer’
In the last episode, the Lambs dethroned Robo Girl to become the new Queens of The Masked Singer. Tonight, they defended their thrones against Walrus and Milkshake. The trio of mystery celebrities delivered an amazing performance of “Ironic” by Alanis Morissette.
After Walrus was eliminated by the studio audience, the Lambs went up against Milkshake in the Battle Royale. They showed off some beautiful harmonies on a cover of “What Is Love” by Haddaway, earning a spot in the Semifinals. They’ll go up against Harp and one more contestant who has yet to be determined.
Guesses from the panel about the Lambs’ identities included the Corrs, Fifth harmony, and the Chicks. Even special guest Lance Bass said he thought they were the Chicks. We’ll have to wait a little while longer to find out for sure.

Walrus, Milkshake Unmasked as Joey Lawrence, Le’Veon Bell
Sunday’s new episode also featured performances from Walrus and Milkshake. First up, Walrus performed “Two Princes” by Spin Doctors, showing off an impressive voice and a great stage presence. Nicole Scherzinger told him he “lit a fire under ’90s Night.”
Guesses from the panel included John Stamos, Scott Wolf, and Mario Lopez. However, only Robin Thicke correctly guessed that it was Joey Lawrence under the mask. Lawrence previously placed third on Season 3 of Dancing with the Stars.
Later in the night, Milkshake took the stage and rapped his clue package. He then gave an energetic and fun performance of “Jump on It” by Sir Mix-a-Lot. Guesses from the panel about his identity included LL Cool J, DeSean Jackson, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and T.I. However, none of the panelists correctly guessed that it was NFL star Le’Veon Bell under the mask.
In the next episode, we’ll meet an all new group of performers, who will compete in the hope of making it to the Semifinals with Harp and the Lambs.
