The Best ‘Masked Singer’ Performances in Honor of the 100th Episode

The Masked Singer will soon be celebrating 100 episodes on FOX. To mark the occasion, the show will be airing ’90s Night this Sunday, November 6, at 8/7c. In a promo for the episode, panelist Jenny McCarthy appears to be dressed as Gwen Stefani.


The Best Masked Singer Performances, Ranked

The show is currently in its eighth season, and we’ve seen a lot of amazing performances during that time. In honor of The Masked Singer reaching 100 episodes, let’s rank some of the best performances from the show’s contestants.

10. Peacock, “The Greatest Show”

Donny Osmond delivered the very first performance of Season 1 as Peacock, and it was the perfect song. Osmond brought some serious showmanship to the performance. It’s no wonder he made it to second place that season.

9. Night Angel, “Rise Up”

In Season 3, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss wowed everyone with her voice as Night Angel. One of the most memorably performances from her time on the show was her cover of “Rise Up” by Andra Day. She ended up winning the entire season.

8. Piglet, “Superstition”

Season 5 winner Nick Lachey brought his A game to this performance of Stevie Wonder’s classic song. From the operatic opening to the final bit of scatting, Piglet had everyone on their feet and dancing. He went on to win the season.

7. Bull, “Straight Up”

Todrick Hall brought an amazing energy to Season 6 of the show as Bull. His standout performance from the season was when he sang “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul. He started by falling backwards off a raised platform and proceeded to show off some incredible dance moves.

6. Seahorse, “Only Girl (In the World)”

In Season 4, Tori Kelly brought attitude to her performance of Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” as Seahorse. Not only did she have an amazing stage presence, but she also hit some incredible notes during the song.

5. Sun, “When the Party’s Over”

LeAnn Rimes won Season 4 of the show as Sun, delivering several fantastic performances. But her cover of Billie Eilish’s “When the Party’s Over” stands out for the fact that so much of it was sung a cappella, as Rimes showed off incredible emotion.

4. Queen of Hearts, “La Vie En Rose”

In Season 6, Jewel pulled off an impressive feat when she performed Edith Piaf’s “La Vie En Rose” without even knowing French. The singer made it look effortless, and it’s no wonder she went on to win the entire season.

3. Monster, “Stay with Me”

Season 1 winner T-Pain surprised everyone when he showed what a beautiful singing voice he had under the Monster mask. His standout performance was this emotional cover of a Sam Smith song that brought the panel to tears.

2. Harp, “I Have Nothing”

Season 8 is still ongoing, but Harp has already delivered one of the best performances in the entire series. She took on Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” and earned a spot in the Semifinals. We’ll have to wait until later in the season to find out if she wins, and to learn who’s under the mask.

1. Ringmaster, “I Will Always Love You”

Some would say Ringmaster was robbed of the Golden Mask trophy in Season 7. The Goldbergs star Hayley Orrantia wowed everyone with her powerhouse voice throughout the season, but her standout moment was belting out “I Will Always Love You.”
