With the revival of The X Factor USA on the rise, let’s take a look back at the series fame on FOX. The X Factor USA last graced our TV screens in 2013, yet the show hasn’t seen the light of day in a long time, how will the upcoming season compared to the past?

Simon Cowell Brings The X Factor USA Back

When it first aired, The X Factor USA was a highly entertaining show to watch. The concept of forming multiple competing groups and have them mentored by the show’s well-known judges is exciting to watch. There were so many excellent artists throughout the first three seasons.

Cowell has always had an uncanny ability to uncover the top talent for reality competition series. More so than ever, the fans are actually wanting the next big superstar to rise from The X Factor USA and the music mogul is well aware of that.

The series is the birthplace of well-known music groups such as One Direction on the UK version of The X Factor. The X Factor USA notably put together Fifth Harmony, an all-female contemporary R&B vocal group. There were also several notable celebrity guest performances on the show, including Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Rihanna.

The singing competition experienced a significant drop in audience ratings over the years and was eventually scrapped by Fox in 2013. A recent online poll asked the fans “do they think the show should return?” More than 50 percent of all participants voted that they wanted The X Factor USA to come back. With an eager audience awaiting the show’s return, now is the best time to renew the popular show for a new season.

Simon Cowell Comments on The Return of The X Factor USA

Cowell developed The X Factor, which first aired in the United Kingdom in 2004. The American version of the program was especially successful, and according to Cowell, he is still receiving acknowledgment for it.

“So you go where the best navigation is and if I am being honest there is more excitement to make it here than in the UK,” Cowell said.

The AGT judge has expressed that the US version of The X Factor is going to be a huge success, even more than in the UK. On December 30, 2022, Simon Cowell announced the show’s return with NBC. Even though there is limited information about the show’s return at this time, we are excited to see its revival.
