Sofia Vergara is having fun and moving forward after her divorce from Joe Manganiello. The Modern Family star was recently photographed enjoying a date night in Beverly Hills with orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.

After confirming her divorce last July, the America’s Got Talent judge is having a romantic evening with a new man. Last Friday night, Vergara was photographed while she’s out with Saliman at Funke restaurant in Beverly Hills.
For the lovely date, the Colombian beauty wore a strapless lacey black corset paired with a plum velvet trousers. She matched this ensemble with black pumps and a Bottega Veneta pouch purse. Vergara completed her look by putting soft-glam makeup and letting her straight hair down.
Meanwhile, the orthopedic surgeon went for a smart-casual look. Saliman was donning a navy button-down and denim blue jeans.
The two were spotted at the dinner place together and were seen leaving in a car driven by Saliman.

At present, Vergara has not spoken about the issue yet. Nonetheless, previous reports claimed that the television personality is currently “dating and having fun.”
“She is enjoying life. She seems positive and full of energy,” an insider told People. “Sofia has been handling the divorce well. It wasn’t an easy decision, but she is doing great now.”
This dinner date comes after Vergara and Manganiello revealed that they have made “the difficult decision to divorce.” In the Magic Mike’s filing, he cited irreconcilable differences as the reason of their separation. The estranged couple, who married each other in November 2015, asked for privacy as they try to navigate the “new phase of our lives.”
Who is Orthopedic Surgeon Justin Saliman?
Saliman is the first man to ever be with Vergara since her split from her former husband. Thus, fans are naturally curious about the medical professional.
According to his website, he practices medicine in Beverly Hills, and is a Stanford sports medicine trained orthopaedic surgeon. Apart from his Ivy League education, he also obtained a medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Saliman has been working in the medical industry for over a decade now and has worked with the San Francisco 49ers along with several university athletic teams. Additionally, he owns a medical startup and has reportedly invented a “revolutionary meniscus repair device.”
“Dr. Saliman has been using it to preserve knee joints ever since. Nobody has more experience sewing meniscus tears back together than Dr. Saliman. He is specialized in joint preserving minimally invasive techniques to repair injuries to the shoulder, hip, and knee to prevent arthritis and prevent the need for joint replacement later in life,” his online bio reads.
The doctor may not be an unfamiliar name to some. Saliman was previously married to The Ugly Truth alum Bree Turner. In 2018, Turner filed for divorce after 10 years, citing “irreconcilable differences” as reason for split. The two share two kids together, Dean and Stella.
While nothing is sure yet, fans are hoping that Vergara will be able to find a genuine man after the divorce. If that man will be Saliman, fans are definitely supportive of the possibly brewing romance between the pair.
