Meet Peter Antoniou, The Psychic Who Guessed Sofia Vergara’s Special Memory

Quickly after he read what’s inside Sofia Vergara’s mind, Peter Antoniou became an international sensation. His first attempt to wow the crowd in America’s Got Talent was an absolute success. Now that he’s back for AGT All-Stars, he’s all ready to spell out what a psychic really means.
Peter Antoniou’s Bizarre Talent Began At Age Nine
Peter Antoniou began tapping into his psychic abilities through a tarot deck he bought during the holidays. At nine years old, his fascination over being able to read people’s minds urged him to develop his paranormal powers. Antoniou is entirely self-taught, his childhood comprised of satisfying his deep curiosity about divination.
“I learnt as much as I could from psychologists, hypnotists, magicians, and traditional psychics,” he said.
Admitting that he was a “weird kid,” he accounts his predicting abilities to the Greek side of his family. Interestingly, Antoniou grew up seeing his aunt read fortunes from coffee grounds. This perhaps explains his interest over supernatural practices.
In 2021, he introduced himself as a mentalist comedian in America’s Got Talent. Antoniou’s audition consisted of locating a missing object hidden by host Terry Crews and finding judge Sofia Vergara’s engagement ring. The real magic happened when he guessed Vergara’s special memory, one that’s known by only a few people.
He’s Returning for AGT All-Stars
Antoniou advanced through AGT season 16, all the way to the Semifinals. Within his final act he guessed which fan submitted photographs the judges were holding. Apparently, during this performance, he failed to correctly guess Sofia’s photo, causing Simon Cowell to buzz the act. Consequently, he got eliminated instead of comedian Josh Blue.
Quickly becoming a smash hit, Antoniou’s psychic talent has gotten recognized in bigger and prestigious venues. Few of the multiple venues he reached were The Royal Albert Hall, the world-famous Hippodrome Casino, and The Edinburgh Playhouse. Amazingly, he also hits the road with his psychic comedy show, out there impressing sell-out crowds.
In November, he announced that he’ll be among the 60 acts competing on AGT All-Stars. Leaving the AGT season 16 with a great impression, fans are wondering how he’ll be able to meet higher expectations this time.
