Jesy Nelson Returns to Social Media After Break
According to The Daily Mail, Nelson deactivated her Instagram account last month because she “needed a break.” The singer has since returned to the platform, although her posts have all been deleted. She took to Instagram stories to share a message with her fans.
“Hello my beautiful people, I am back!” she wrote. “I decided I needed a bit of a social media break and it did me the world of good. I have missed you all so much.”
Nelson went on to tell fans that “there will be music soon,” but she “wanted to make sure it was perfect” before releasing it. She told fans to “keep your eyes out for some clues,” adding that they can expect to hear the music “early next year.”
The singer made her solo debut with the song “Boyz” with Nicki Minaj last year. The music video drew controversy, as Nelson was accused of “Blackfishing.” It was reported earlier this year that Nelson had left her label Polydor.

Nelson Left Little Mix in 2020
Little Mix was the first group to win the British version of The X Factor in 2011. They released six studio albums before Nelson decided to leave the group in 2020. The group posted on Instagram that Nelson was doing “what is right for her mental health and well-being.”
The remaining three members of the group continued to perform together after Nelson’s departure. In 2021, they released a greatest hits album called Between Us to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The album featured five new songs.
Not long after that, the group announced that they would be going on a hiatus after completing their Confetti tour in 2022. They wrapped up the tour in May of this year and are now pursuing solo projects.
