What is the New Movie About?

According to the movie’s synopsis, My Little Pony: A New Generation tells the story of Sunny Starscout, who tries to bring unity back to Equestria after it loses its magic and Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi stop being friends. She teams up with Izzy Moonbow (voiced by Kimiko Glenn) to travel to other lands.

In case you’re keeping track, the new movie reportedly takes place years after My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, the series which ran for nine seasons starting in 2010. As the title suggests, this new movie focuses on a new generation of characters for today’s young viewers.

Jeong has two kids of his own with wife, a fellow doctor named Tran Ho. Their twin daughters were born in 2007, making them teenagers now, so they might not be the biggest My Little Pony Fans, but you never know.
