Ken Jeong to Miss The Masked Singer This Week
“Sadly you won’t be seeing my gorgeous face on this week’s Masked Singer as I had Covid but thankfully got better super quickly, thank you vaccines!” Jeong wrote. “But fortunately Joel McHale showed up, although no one invited him.”
McHale has been a guest judge on the show in the past. As Jeong pointed out, this week’s episode will also featured beloved guest judge Leslie Jordan. It marks Jordan’s final appearance on the show before he passed away.
Jeong wrote that the show is dedicated to Jordan, adding, “We can feel your love from above.” Sadly, Jordan died last month at age 67 after his car hit the side of a building. It is suspected that Jordan experienced a medical emergency that led to the crash.

Leslie Jordan Talked About Judging with Joel McHale
In September, Leslie Jordan was a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show, where he talked about his experience appearing on The Masked Singer. Specifically, he talked about judging next to Joel McHale.
“Listen, he’s nine feet tall,” Jordan said. “And I’m standing there beside him, and he just rendered me mute. I couldn’t even speak. I had such a crush on him.”
This Wednesday’s episode is Hall of Fame Night, as three new contestants take the stage for their chance of being crowned King or Queen of The Masked Singer. Harp and the Lambs have already earned a spot in the Semifinals. Who will join them?
A new episode of The Masked Singer premieres this Wednesday night at 8/7c on FOX.
