“How do you be so much without feeling like you’re too much?” Barrymore asked Perry during their interview. She responded that it’s all about balance, adding that she saves up a lot of her energy for performing.
“I really love this show that I put on,” Perry said of her Las Vegas residency. “It’s my favorite show. It’s bringing the most joy. I’ll probably go and make another record soon and write it and tour the world after this, which will be so great.”
Perry added that off stage, she’s more of a businesswoman. She even said she doesn’t talk much when she’s not performing, calling herself “an observer.” But when it comes time to perform and she finally turns it on, “it’s up to 11, girl.”

The Singer Wouldn’t Want to Get Married in Vegas
Perry shared that her family has a history in Vegas, as both her aunt and her grandmother worked there, and her parents met there and got married there. However, the singer doesn’t seem too interested in getting married there herself.
She and actor Orlando Bloom have been engaged since 2019. She shared with Barrymore that “the location is challenging.” When Barrymore pointed out that her parents got married in Vegas, she said, “I know, but I love a big celebration. I’m all about, like, big, fun, exotic, great celebrations.”
Perry said the wedding would happen “hopefully soon.” In the meantime, she’s enjoying being a mom to daughter Daisy. She said she and Bloom were “very intentional” about having a child together. She calls being a mother “my favorite thing I’ve ever done.”
