A source told E! News that the couple is “spending time apart,” two years after they tied the knot. This is not only because work commitments have kept them apart, but also because things have “changed in their relationship.”

He goes on to say he wants to officially retire from hockey, but some outlets are wondering if he’s also referring to the end of his relationship. In the past, the couple has been quite open about their marriage, including their sex life and their choice to undergo IVF to hopefully have a child.
