JoJo Siwa’s Girl Group XOMG Pop! Signs Second Wave of Licensing Deals With Thomas Global Media

Former America’s Got Talent group XOMG Pop! has surely rose to fame since their time on the variety show. Even though they didn’t make it into the finale, they’ve gone on to release an album and sign a bunch of different deals. Recently, it was announced that the group has signed a second wave of licensing deals with Thomas Global Media.
JoJo, Jessalynn Siwa Announces XOMG Pop! Gigantic Second Wave Licensing Deal
On June 6, it was revealed that former child star JoJo Siwa and her mom/business partner Jessalynn Siwa signed a series of new licensing deals and consumer product partnerships for their girl group, XOMG Pop! Even more XOMG Pop! consumer products are set to hit the market in 2024.
“We are so excited to announce more merchandise is coming out for XOMG POP! We have signed publishing deals with Scholastic and Insight Editions. [We] are thrilled to be working with these wonderful companies and can’t wait for everyone to see our new XOMG POP! books Spring 2024!” the XOMG Pop! creators said in a joint statement.
The first wave of XOMG Pop! themed merchandise is set to hit the market next month. In July 2023, consumer products will begin rolling out at Walmart, Target, and other major retailers across the USA. Even though the initial set of merchandise has yet to hit the market, JoJo and Jessalynn Siwa have already signed a new set of deals. Reportedly, these new deals include companies Scholastic, Insight Editions, Conair, Bentex, Tanoshi, Verge, Pure Imagination Studios, and more.
At this time, it’s been revealed that upcoming product categories will include: accessories from Verge and Accutime Watch Corporation; apparel from Isaac Morris Limited, Bioworld, Brisco, and Komar; as well as arts and crafts DIY sets from Fashion Angels. The deal also includes beauty and bath from Scent Theory Products; bedding and home goods from Jay Franco and Sons; Costumes from Rubies; computers by Tanoshi Computers for kids; film, television and streaming with Pure Imagination Studios. They will also produce games and puzzles by Ceaco; hair accessories by Conair, publishing with Scholastic and Insight Editions, and even more.
Who is XOMG Pop?
For those who may not know, XOMG Pop! was originally created on the Peacock/NBC series Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution. The group was originally comprised of seven girls between the ages of 10 and 14. Original group members were Kiya Barczyszyn, Brooklynn Pitts, Leigha Sanderson, Dallas Skye, Tinie T, Kinley Cunningham, and Bella Cianni Llerena.
Following their time on Siwa’s Dance Pop Revolution, the group opened for JoJo Siwa’s tour, then competed on America’s Got Talent season 17. The show definitely helped the group gain mainstream popularity, even though they didn’t make it into the finale.
After their time on America’s Got Talent, group member Kiya Barczyszyn announced her departure from the group. To this day, XOMG Pop! has yet to comment on Kiya’s departure. Following in Kiya’s footsteps is Leigha Sanderson, who left the group in May 2023. XOMG Pop! has also not commented on Leigha’s departure.
The Group Recently Downsized
It’s no secret that XOMG Pop! is becoming quite well known, yet fans are hesitate to celebrate their success. Many fans are commenting about former members on each of the group’s social media posts.
“The announcement should be why you lost two members in one year of being a group …” a fan wrote on Instagram.
Fans are clearly excited for XOMG Pop! and their new found success, just want an explanation as to why two members have left. Regardless, it’s obvious that XOMG Pop! has a bright future ahead, so their new wave of licensing deals is extremely exciting for the young girl group.
