Earlier this week, Darci Lynne Farmer posted a series of romantic-looking photos on Instagram featuring her and her boyfriend Kendon Reed. The pair started dating as early as May 2024, when Farmer shared a photo of the two of them on social media.
In the new photos, Farmer and Reed pose together in old-fashioned outfits. Farmer tagged the photographer, Christa Mae, who posted even more snaps from the dreamy-looking shoot on her own Instagram account.
One slide features a close-up of the couple’s hands, and Farmer can be seen sporting a gold ring on her ring finger. Since it’s on her right hand, it doesn’t appear to be an engagement ring. However, Christa Mae’s website describes her as a “Tulsa-based wedding photographer.”
Farmer hasn’t announced an engagement or a wedding. She captioned the new photos simply, “so safe to say I’m still beaming from this shoot.”

Fans Shared Their Congratulations for the Couple
Adding to the confusion about whether Farmer and Reed are engaged is the response their new photos received on Instagram. One commenter wrote, “So happy for you!! He’s found a gem.” A few other people shared their congratulations for the couple.
Even though the post makes no mention of an engagement, and Farmer doesn’t appear to be wearing an engagement ring, the vibe of the photo shoot still gave some people the impression that the young singer is getting married.
For now, we’re going to assume this was just a romantic photo shoot between girlfriend and boyfriend, and withhold our congratulations until we see more explicit confirmation that this couple is tying the knot.
