Professional dancer Gleb Savchenko was apparently not invited to return to the ballroom for Dancing with the Stars Season 34. Savchenko himself seems to imply that the reason for this has to do with his ex-girlfriend and former dance partner Brooks Nader.
Gleb Savchenko Is Not Returning to DWTS This Season
Earlier this week, the trailer was released for supermodel Brooks Nader’s new reality series Love Thy Nader, in which she claims that her ex-boyfriend Gleb Savchenko cheated on her. The pair’s romance began while they were competing on Season 33 of DWTS.
In a recent TikTok video, Savchenko appears to deny Nader’s cheating accusation, lip-syncing to an audio recording of someone saying, “I don’t know who you got your information from. I don’t know who your source is. But I will be the first one to tell you, that is incorrect.”
In the comments of the video, one fan wrote that they “can’t wait to see you on my TV again in September,” referring to DWTS Season 34. Savchenko responded, “Afraid you won’t.” This appears to confirm that he won’t be back as a pro next season.
Another commenter wrote that they would be “giving that flop reality show zero attention,” to which Savchenko replied, “14 years of loyalty, erased by someone’s lie.” This seems to imply that Nader’s cheating accusation is the reason he wasn’t invited back to DWTS.
Nader and Savchenko’s romance began while they were competing as dance partners on Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars, which premiered last September. Although they never confirmed they were dating during the show, they definitely played up their attraction to each other.
The pair reportedly broke up following their elimination from the show in October, but they soon rekindled things. Then in April of this year, they split again, with People reporting that Nader suspected Savchenko cheated on her.
Love Thy Neighbor, which follows Nader and her three sisters, is set to premiere August 26 on Freeform. Season 34 of DWTS will premiere on ABC and Disney+ on September 16. The cast of professional dancers has yet to be announced, but it sounds like Savchenko won’t be among them.
