“We continue to date each other, because I think we get really complacent and it can become a brother and sister relationship real quick, unless you do the work,” McCarthy told People on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards earlier this week.
She added that she and Wahlberg like to play a game called “Questions,” in which they “ask questions that we don’t know the answer to because you already know what you think are answers to everything after 10 years.”
“It allows us to actually do work and get introspective and get curious about each other,” McCarthy explained. “And when you get curious about each other, it feels like you’re dating again. So we always make sure we play ‘Questions’ to keep that curiosity going in our relationship.”
McCarthy and Wahlberg first met during an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in 2012. They ended up tying the knot in August 2014.

McCarthy Says She’s ‘Lucky’ to Be Married to a Musician
McCarthy also talked about being married to a musician, sharing that Wahlberg is always singing around the house. She added that she doesn’t usually show off her own voice in the same way, calling herself “a little tone deaf.”
“But being married to a musician is one of the greatest extra cherry on tops in a relationship because you get to go to his job and it’s a concert of the music you love and then you’re at home and he’s in the shower and he’s singing a song,” McCarthy explained.
She called herself “very lucky,” adding that her current favorite New Kids on the Block song is “Come Back,” off their most recent album Still Kids.
