Jennifer Lopez recently got fans talking when she posted about the anniversary of her song “Cambia el Paso” on Instagram. The track is rumored to be about Lopez’s split from her ex Alex Rodriguez, adding fuel to rumors that she and husband Ben Affleck are headed for divorce.

Lopez’s Instagram post featured a clip from the music video for “Cambia el Paso,” celebrating the Spanish-language song’s third anniversary. The clip shows Lopez dancing on a beach in a pair of denim shorts and a bikini top.
Entertainment Tonight points out that the song’s lyrics seem to refer to a woman leaving a man who doesn’t deserve her. According to the translation, Lopez sings, “Now he wants fire between his lips / He doesn’t deserve to have her in his arms / She knows it, she knows it.”
At one point, Lopez adds, “Her life is better now without him.” The song’s title, “Cambia el Paso,” translates to “change the step.” Her choice to post the song now has gotten people talking, since Lopez and Affleck are rumored to be headed for divorce.
Although the post is ostensibly meant to mark the song’s anniversary, could there be a deeper meaning behind Lopez’s choice to share it now?

The Couple Spent July Fourth Apart
Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in July 2022, having reconnected after calling off their first engagement back in 2003. For the past few months, rumors have swirled that the couple is having problems and could be headed for divorce.
Recently, Lopez took a solo trip to Europe. She and Affleck also reportedly spent their Fourth of July weekends apart, with Lopez hanging out in the Hamptons without her husband. Meanwhile, Affleck apparently spent the holiday in Los Angeles with his kids — whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Both stars have reportedly been spotted wearing their wedding rings in recent days. We’ll have to wait and see if the couple acknowledges their second wedding anniversary later this month.
