Since marrying pop superstar Justin Bieber, Hailey Bieber didn’t become bulletproof from multiple pregnancy rumors. The Rhode founder recently came clean about the issue and talked about how the recent gossips have been affecting her.
Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Upsetting Pregnancy Rumors
Speaking to GQ Hype for their cover story, the model addressed the circulating pregnancy assumptions. Hailey admitted feeling frustrated over the news, stating the rumors are making her distressed.
“Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s pregnant,’ and that’s happened to me multiple times before,” she said. “There is something that’s disheartening about, damn, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh, yeah, I don’t give a s***.'”
Hailey went on and stated that when the rumors eventually come true, “you, you as in the internet, will be the last to know.” Previously, the model got candid about wanting to raise kids away from the limelight. However, now that she’s had a grasp of her and Justin’s reality as artists, she said that it’s “probably totally unavoidable.”
“Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18,” she said. “It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet. I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet. And that’s not the same thing, by any means.”
Nonetheless, despite present complications, Hailey maintained that motherhood is a responsibility that “I look forward to.” Deeming the duty to be an “intimate thing,” she supposes that it’s “going to come when it comes.”
“And it’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people fing care. Let me do what I want with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body — and let’s just let it be that,” she said.
She Addresses Clashing Outfit Choices with Justin Bieber
Apart from the pregnancy rumors, Hailey also addressed the frequently viral fan discussions about her and her husband’s opposite outfits. For those who may not know, numerous fans have been making fun of the way the couple were always dressed like they’re going to different events.
Apparently, putting on matching outfits is not withing their husband-and-wife dynamics. According to Hailey, it’s “so funny” that many people are talking about it.
“He may want to wear baggy sweats to dinner, and I might want to wear a tiny little dress just because that’s how I’m feeling. We can’t sit there and be like, ‘So I’m going to wear this and you’re going to wear this,’” she said.
Interestingly, after her GQ interview, Hailey and Justin’s fashion choices during a Rhode promotional event in Times Square went viral. For the occasion, Hailey wore a red-hot mini dress and heels while Justin slipped on gray sweats and yellow Crocs.
The couple got engaged in July 2018 and tied the knot in September of the same year. Last month, the pair celebrated their five-year wedding anniversary. For the special day, Justin wrote about his wife on Instagram.
“To the most precious, my beloved,” he wrote. “5 years. You have captivated my heart. I know from the depths of my soul down to my bones that this journey with you will only exceed our wildest expectations. So let’s keep dreaming big baby. Cheers to forever and ever. I love you with every fiber of my being. HAPPY 5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!”
