H.E.R. to Join Kodi Lee For ‘America’s Got Talent’ Results Show Performance

America’s Got Talent has a stacked lineup for Wednesday’s live results show. Four-time Grammy-winner H.E.R. was just announced as one of the performers. She will join Season 14 winner Kodi Lee for a duet of “Hold On” during the August 18 episode.
H.E.R. to Perform on ‘AGT’ Live Results Show with Kodi Lee
H.E.R. just received two MTV VMA nominations for the songs “Come Through” and “Fight For You.” She is set to headline the Lights On Festival on September 18 and 19 in California. She is also bringing the festival to the East Coast in October. “Hold On” is featured on her Back of My Mind album which was released on June 18. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums chart.
The 24-year-old R&B singer found childhood fame like many of the AGT contestants. When she was just 10 years old, she performed the Alicia Keys hit “If I Ain’t Got You” on The Today Show. It eventually led her to sign a record deal with Sony’s RCA Records when she was 14 years old.
Season 11 mentalists, The Clairvoyants also announced that they will be returning to the AGT stage. They revealed in an Instagram post that they will be bringing a brand new act to the AGT results show. They are just one of the many fan-favorite acts along with Kodi who are joining the AGT Las Vegas Live show.
Kodi never disappoints any time AGT brings him back to perform. He performed Harry Styles’ “Sign of the Times” during the AGT: The Champions finale in 2020. Kodi was invited back once again in Season 15 to perform Finneas’ “Break My Heart Again” during the live results show. His duet with Leona Lewis at the Season 14 finale is still fresh in our heads and we can only imagine how phenomenal his duet with H.E.R. will be.
