Gabby Barrett Discusses What She’ll Do If She Wins ‘American Idol’

One of the favorites from the start of this season of American Idol is Gabby Barrett. With her energetic performances, big stadium voice, and country girl-next-door vibes, she’s electrified the competition. Now that she’s in the final three, she’s reflecting on what she will do if she wins. What’s that, you may ask? Work some more.
Gabby isn’t interested in taking a vacation to Hawaii or Disneyworld if she wins. She wants to tour, especially the bigger venues that being on American Idol will afford her. And she doesn’t mean just with the American Idol tour with the top 8 contestants. She means by herself. She told Variety,
“Touring is something that I really want to be able to do, whether after American Idol I open up for somebody, or I want to be able to have my own tour. I say this to everybody. I really want to make it to Madison Square Garden, because I feel like that is the make-it spot. Once you get there, you’ve made it. Madison Square Garden, in a few years I’m taking you down.”
That’s the winner’s spirit. You got to keep moving in this business or you’ll be dead in the water. We look forward to seeing her on tour.
