Fans Criticize JoJo Siwa for XOMG POP’s Tour Conditions

JoJo Siwa’s girl group XOMG POP! is currently performing on a live tour around the United States. The group’s social media posts have prompted some fans to question the conditions of the tour — including the size of the bus.
Fans Criticize XOMG POP! Live Tour Conditions
TikTok user @codedebyt recently posted about the XOMG POP! tour, which kicked off earlier this month and runs through June 29. She shared a photo of two group members sleeping across two seats on the tour bus.
Only three out of the current four members are on the tour, as Brooklynn Pitts chose not to join them for personal reasons. JoJo Siwa’s mom Jessalynn reportedly commented on Instagram that the girls will be staying in a hotel every night of the tour. A later video also confirmed that the girls took a plane from Chicago to New York instead of driving.
However, as one TikTok user commented, the group will be traveling to 12 different states in less than a month. They called it “insane for these poor kids,” adding, “You know they’re exhausted.”
User @codedebyt pointed out that the show itself seems to be “scaled back,” without set pieces or costume changes. Fans in the comments also noted that the tickets are very inexpensive, so the group likely isn’t making much money from this tour.

JoJo Siwa Visited the Group in New York
Although Siwa isn’t joining XOMG POP! on the full tour, she did visit with the girls in New York City earlier this week and came to see their show. The group posted a video in which they can be seen hanging out with Siwa in the city, as she asks them if they’ve ever been to New York.
This isn’t the first time Siwa has been criticized for her treatment of XOMG POP!, as former member Leigha Sanderson gave a tell-all interview about her experience earlier this year. She accused Siwa and her mother of putting them through long rehearsals and unfairly compensating them.
Leigha, who was born with spina bifida, was also allegedly encouraged to shoot a music video just weeks after surgery. As she said of her time in the group, “It’s like, they use you. And then they throw you in the trash.”
