Canada’s Got Talent Season 3 returned on Tuesday night, as auditions continued. The episode included not one but two powerful dance routines that amazed the judges and audience, as well as a Golden Buzzer performance from a talented 15-year-old singer.
Emotional Dance Routines on Canada’s Got Talent
During Tuesday’s episode, Briar Nolet took the stage to show off her talent for dance. She shared that she was diagnosed with epilepsy at 18, adding that her seizures were triggered by dance. As she told the judges, “Dance never gave up on me, and I never gave up on dance.”
Briar performed a dance routine set to Whitney Houston’s song “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength.” She demonstrated incredible agility and grace, doing flips across the stage. The judges and audience gave Briar a standing ovation, with Howie Mandel telling her the performance was “worthy of a million-dollar season.”
Later in the episode, a dance duo called Marie-Josee and Jason took the stage. Marie-Josee said that their routine was inspired her personal story. Their dynamic and emotional performance appeared to depict a scene of domestic violence.
Trish Stratus was brought to tears by the audition, and the duo received a standing ovation. Singh contrasted them with acts who try to get the audience to make noise, saying there’s “great power in also leaving people speechless.”

15-Year-Old Singer Earns Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer
During Tuesday’s show, 15-year-old singer Jade Mathieu took the stage and shared that she was diagnosed with autism a few years ago. She said that talking to people has always been difficult for her, but singing allows her to express herself.
Jade performed “Reflection,” as sung by Christina Aguilera for the Mulan soundtrack. The judges were clearly impressed by Jade’s powerful voice. Howie Mandel loved the performance so much, he hit the Golden Buzzer to send Jade straight through to the next round.
Mandel said the Canada’s Got Talent stage is about diversity, which includes neurodiversity. As a Golden Buzzer recipient, Jade will also receive a $25,000 prize, courtesy of CIBC.
