‘DWTS’ Pro Lindsay Arnold Gives Birth to Her Second Child

Dancing with the Stars pro Lindsay Arnold has given birth to her second child with husband Sam Cusick. Arnold kept fans updated on Instagram on Wednesday as she experienced contractions and eventually headed to the hospital.
DWTS Pro Lindsay Arnold Gives Birth to Second Child
According to Heavy, Arnold had previously shared that the baby was breech, so she had a C-section scheduled for this Friday. However, the baby decided to come a little bit earlier than that, as the dancer shared that she was having contractions as early as Wednesday morning.
“My water broke before any contractions started with Sage,” Arnold wrote on Instagram stories, referring to her first daughter, “so I’m not really sure what to make of this quite yet but we will see if they get any closer.”
Later, she shared that her contractions were slowing down and speculated that it was “false early labor.” However, a few hours later, she updated fans from the car to say that contractions were “in full effect” and they were on the way to the hospital.
Many hours later, Arnold shared a clip from her hospital bed as she held her newborn daughter, writing that she arrived Wednesday afternoon and was healthy.

Arnold Shares Photos with Her Newborn Daughter
On Thursday morning, Arnold once again took to Instagram, this time to share photos on her feed announcing her baby daughter’s birth. In one shot, she can be seen lying with the baby in her arms while Cusick kisses her head.
“Baby girl is here and we are so in love,” Arnold wrote in the caption, adding that “mama and baby are healthy and we are soaking up every minute with our little piece of Heaven.” She thanked everyone “for all the love” and promised to “share more soon.”
Last year, Arnold took the season off from Dancing with the Stars, choosing to stay in Utah with her family while she and Cusick tried to have another baby. No long after that, she announced that she was pregnant with her second child. She previously gave birth to her daughter Sage in 2020.
