Dancing with the Stars pro dancer Lindsay Arnold has announced that she’s currently pregnant with her second child. She and her husband Sam Cusick are already parents to 23-month-old daughter Sage.

On Monday, Arnold shared the news in an Instagram post featuring photos of her, Cusick, and Sage posing with her sonograms. Arnold wrote in the caption that the new baby is expected to arrive in May 2023.
“We are beyond grateful and feel so blessed to be adding a new addition to our family and Sage cannot wait to be a big sister,” Arnold added in the caption.
The dancer has been open in recent months about her and Cusick’s attempts to conceive a second child together. In August, Arnold posted a TikTok video in which she celebrated a positive at-home pregnancy test but was later in tears after starting her period.
On Monday, Arnold shared a video on her YouTube channel talking about the pregnancy, saying it’s “something we’ve wanted for such a long time.” She teased that they’ll know the baby’s sex soon, and she’ll do another announcement.
Arnold joined Dancing with the Stars in Season 16 and later won Season 25 with Jordan Fisher. Last season, she was partnered with The Bachelor star Matt James, placing 12th.
Before Season 31 kicked off, Arnold shared that she would be sitting this season out. She explained that she lives with her family in Utah, and she didn’t want to make the move to Los Angeles for the show. Arnold also mentioned her attempts to have another baby as a reason she wasn’t competing.
The dancer wrote on Instagram that her absence from Season 31 “doesn’t mean that this is the end for me and DWTS.” She’s not the only pro who’s currently expecting. Jenna Johnson and husband Val Chmerkovskiy are expecting a baby boy.
