Blu Hydrangea to Host New Series ‘Stitch, Please!’
Stitch, Please! is an upcoming three-part series that will air on BBC One Northern Ireland and BBC Three. According to a press release, contestants will “create looks inspired by the works of some world-renowned costume and fashion designers.”
Each episode will feature a pair of contestants, who will have a £100 budget and 12 hours to create their looks before modeling them on the runway. The contestants will be inspired by The Hunger Games, the Met Gala, and Clueless. Filming took place at a 17th century castle.
Blu will be joined by guest judges from the costume and fashion industry, including Michele Clapton, Julien MacDonald, and Colin Horgan. The show will air April 18 on BBC Three and April 20 on BBC One Northern Ireland. It’s also available on BBC iPlayer.

Blu Is Excited to Host the New Series
“I’ve been blown away by the talent of the Stitchers and I think viewers will be too,” Blu said in a press release. “It’s a fast-paced show full of fun and glamour and really taps into my love of pop culture. If the audience have half as much fun watching as I’ve had with the Stitchers, they’re in for a real treat.”
She went on to describe the “wealth of talent out there in the sewing, crafting and cosplay communities,” adding that the new show “gives them an opportunity to really showcase their skills.”
Blu was known for her bold runway looks during her time on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs the World, so she’s a great fit to host a series focused on recreating some of pop culture most iconic outfits.
