Tomorrow the battle rounds commence on this season of The Voice and the competition is fierce. Starting tomorrow the artists will square off against each other for a spot on the team. Many will go home, however there is the new “save” feature which might throw a wrinkle in the game. If this sneak peek is any indication we are in for one hell of a night.
In the above clip 14-year-old Brynn Cartelli takes on 21-year-old Dylan Hartigan in a duet of Taylor Swift’s …Ready for It? This was from back when Taylor Swift was more country. Those were strange times, but there you go. I think Brynn really brings it more than Dylan in this song and I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s the one that gets picked. It’s hard though because Dylan is also really good. One thing is for sure and that is that it’s a very high energy performance and the coaches were all about it.
Energy goes a long way to getting people hyped up during a performance and that’s partly why Brynn has the upper hand. Think of how much more energy you had at 14 than you did at 21. All I know is that if this is just the teaser for what’s to come then I can’t wait for Monday night.
