Everything is moving full force for Canada’s Got Talent winner Jeanick Fournier. She is now beginning her career as a recording artist with her new label. In nearly two months, this singer has been catapulted into stardom.
Canada’s Got Talent winner Jeanick Fournier has been moving full force since winning the competition in May 2022. The singer has shared that “it’s going fast” so far.
For those who may not know, Jeanick signed an agreement with Universal Music Canada after the Canada’s Got Talent finale earlier this year. Since then, the singer has spent most of her time in the recording studio. While she’s unable to talk about her upcoming album at this time, she notes that it’s been a learning experience.
“I am learning a lot. It is a school, the studio, for me who is first and foremost a performing artist. It is something completely different, but I am well supervised, and well accompanied,” she said. “I am 100% open. I swallow all the information that can make me grow and become a [better] singer.”

Where Can Fans Hear More of Her Music?
In the meantime, fans are able to hear Jeanick’s vocals once again in her upcoming shows, 5 Divas – One Voice. Reports state that the event will feature music by Celine Dion, Ginette Reno, Lara Fabian, Lady Gaga, and Whitney Houston. The voices of these divas have been inspiration for Jeanick throughout her musical journey.
“They are vocal singers who always touched me and followed me as I listened,” she said. “I watched these women sing in their music videos to see how they pronounce and how they breathe. They were my singing teachers, if you will.”
It seems like this show will take place at multiple venues throughout Canada in the near future. She’s set to perform throughout Québec and Ontario into the fall. If fans are unable to attend one of these shows, they can listen to her older music on YouTube and any streaming service. This singer released her first album, Mes Coups De Coeur, in 2015. It even features Jeanick’s rendition of “I Surrender” by Celine Dion!
Jeanick took the Canada’s Got Talent stage earlier this year and impressed with her rendition of “I Surrender” by Celine Dion. Her Golden Buzzer audition secured her spot as Canada’s Susan Boyle. The singer excelled throughout each week of CGT, so it was no surprise that she won the series, with a record breaking number of votes.
