The Masked Singer Season 13 returned to FOX on Wednesday night for the Group B premiere, as we were introduced to five new contestants in an episode with the theme “Voices of Olympus: Unmasking of the Gods.” At the end of the night, Bat was unmasked as Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay.
The Masked Singer Returns for the Group B Premiere
The first new contestant to take the stage on Wednesday night was Boogie Woogie, a fuzzy orange creature in a disco-inspired outfit. They performed “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” by The Darkness, showing off a fun stage presence and a solid voice.
Next up was Space Ranger, a green alien in a cowboy-inspired outfit. They sang “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift, teasing that they “go way back” with the singer. Space Ranger may not have had the best voice of the night, but it was clear they were having a great time.
Later in the show, Griffin showed up to perform “Rewrite the Stars” from The Greatest Showman, sharing, “The stage is my happy place.” Griffin showed off an impressive voice and a clear passion for performing that resonated with the panel.
Wednesday’s show also featured a performance from Pearl, who sang “Saving All My Love for You” by Whitney Houston. Their deep, raspy voice had the panel on their feet. Pearl is definitely a frontrunner in Group B, if not for the whole season.

Bat Unmasked as Scheana Shay
One contestant had to be eliminated and unmasked at the end of the night. That contestant was Bat, who teased in her clue package that she had been “forever villainized” but actually has “a heart of gold.” For her performance, Bat took on “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to keep her in the competition, and her identity had to be revealed. Final guesses from the panel included Larsa Pippen, Lisa Rinna, and Bethenny Frankel. However, none of them were correct in guessing that it was actually Scheana Shay from Vanderpump Rules.
Shay shared that bats are “one of my favorite animals ever,” adding that she hopes her appearance on the show will help her daughter overcome her fear of them. She also pointed that her costume featured a “V” for Vanderpump Rules.
