Ariana Grande Talks About Lip Fillers, Botox
In the new video, Grande can be seen going through her skincare routine and applying makeup. The singer said that her “relationship to beauty has changed so much over the years.” That includes her view on cosmetic procedures.
“Full transparency, as a beauty person — as I do my lips — I’ve had a ton of lip filler over the years, and Botox,” Grande admitted. “I stopped in 2018, ’cause I just felt so… too much. I just felt like hiding, you know?”
The singer became teary-eyed as she shared this, saying she “didn’t expect to get emotional.” She added, “For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me. And now I feel like maybe it’s not.”
Grande said she wants “to see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines,” adding that aging “can be such a beautiful thing.” However, she admitted that she might get these procedures again in the future, saying, “to each their own, whatever makes you feel beautiful.”

Grande Got Honest About Growing Up in the Spotlight
During Vogue‘s video, Grande also opened up about her experience growing up in the spotlight, and how that affected how she approached beauty. She said it was “really hard to know what’s worth hearing and not” when it came to people commenting on her appearance.
“I, over the years, used makeup as a disguise, or as something to hide behind,” Grande shared. “I think as I get older, I don’t love that being the intention behind it anymore. I think of it as self-expression now, and accentuating what is here.”
On the topic of “beauty secrets,” Grande wondered, “Isn’t the secret that we all just want to feel our best and be loved?”
