‘AGT: Extreme’ Reveals Terry Crews’s Golden Buzzer Act in Sneak Peek
Reading Time: 2 minutes
Ahead of episode two, AGT: Extreme shared a preview of an upcoming Golden Buzzer for Alfredo Silva‘s cage rider group. You may remember this AGT alum as Deadly Games on season 11 and The Champions, but he is premiering a very different talent in this competition.
Instead of throwing knives, he is living out his family legacy as a third generation globe of death rider. Within the preview, Silva shares that his audition features cage riders as well as two freestyle motocross (fmx) riders jumping over the globe at the same time.
When asked about the meaning behind the act, Silva shared that his father and grandfather performed these stunts for years. He noted that his father and grandfather are his heroes, so he became a cage rider to make them proud. The contestant shared that his grandfather passed away a few years ago, but he knows he’s watching the act.
Terry Crews Gives AGT Alum Alfredo Silva His Golden Buzzer
Before the adrenaline filled act, judge Travis Pastrana explained the ramp to the other judges. He shared that the ramp is slippery so if the fmx riders attempt to do any tricks on the side and land, the bike will wash out from underneath them. Pastrana explaining this aspect of the act heightened the stakes of the audition.
During the audition, Silva stands in the middle of the cage, while other group members ride around him. Later, the AGT alum returned to the cage with his motorcycle. The group returned to the main stage for notes and were praised for their precise skills. Before the judges were able to cast their votes, host Terry Crews stopped them and went over to his Golden Buzzer. Crews told Silva that he’s the definition of what the show is.
On February 21, Silva shared a behind the scenes photo of him at the stage. Within the caption he shared his excitement about impressing the judges (especially Pastrana), and the fact that his idol gave him the golden buzzer. Silva’s act was not seen on the first episode of AGT: Extreme so fans can expect to see it next week most likely. AGT: Extreme premieres on Mondays on NBC from 8 to 10 p.m.
