Powerful AGT 9/11 Tribute By Alex Dowis — Never Forget!

Reading Time: 2 minutes
September 11, 2001 is a day many would never forget. We not only lost people who were in the World Trade Center and the surrounding area, we lost some of the greatest heroes America was fortunate to has ever had. The New York City Fire Department lost 343 among their ranks, while 23 New York City police officers and 37 Port Authority officers lost their lives, according to the 9/11 Commission that investigated the attacks and emergency response. Alex Dowis made it a point to honor them all.
On 9/11 We Remember And Honor Our Heroes And Alex Dowis Did That For Us
Every year we remember 9/11 attacks not only because it was the single deadliest terrorist attack in human history but because it was a day America came together to protect, cherish and preserve each other. 9/11 is a day of hope as much as it is a day of grief and we want to take a moment to remember the heroes we lost 18 years ago.
Last night on America’s Got Talent, Alex Dowis’s light painted the grief, pain and sadness of this day. A reminder that hurts as much as it heals. The act on AGT semi-finals honored and paid respect to this day and in case you missed it, here is a video to remind you of what you, me and everyone must never forget.
