Who is the Maize? ‘The Masked Singer’ Prediction & Clues!
Reading Time: 2 minutes
The Masked Singer season 8 has been a-MAIZE-ing so far! (See what we did there?) The new format makes every week more cutthroat than ever, with only one King or Queen making it through weekly. And the themes have added a fun new element to the show too! This week is all about Andrew Lloyd Webber.
And with the Harp making her way to the Semifinals, we have a whole new group of contestants this week. One of them is the Maize, a larger than life lump with knobs. But do they have the juice? And what celebrity could be under the mask? Let’s see what we know so far!
Clues on The Masked Singer Season 8
Maize is definitely someone fabulous, with that extravagant feather headpiece and lots of bling on their outfit and body. The only clue we’ve gotten leading up to their first appearance on the show is from The Masked Singer‘s Instagram. The mask-ray revealed butter under the Maize’s costume! That’s fitting, considering when you try corn with butter, everything changes!
Popular Guesses for The Masked Singer Maize
Leaning on that butter clue, the comments section is going wild with ideas about who the Maize could be. The most popular guess before the season started was celebrity chef Paula Deen. Other early predictions included Jennette McCurdy, RuPaul, Eddie Murphy, or a legendary diva like Tina Turner, Mary J. Blige, Monica, Brandy Norwood, Gloria Gaynor, Cyndi Lauper, or Anita Ward.

Who is the Maize on The Masked Singer?
After his first performance, the Maize was revealed to be…
Mario Cantone!
The Sex and the City star stunned everyone by taking the stage! And honestly, I liked his performance and that costume! I was sad to see him go.
But Robo Girl made it through Andrew Lloyd Webber night, so she has a chance to join the Harp in the semi-finals! Tune in next Wednesday to see if she’ll make it through again.
Fox who cares about the Padre and Phillies. Their not the Yankee so put the Masked Singer on on timr!
It would have been nice to have seen Season 8 tonight but baseball was on. I wish the good shows would not be interrupted for spots. Not everyone likes sports. If you want to watch sports then get the sports channels and leave regular channels alone
