Cheryl Burke Is Saying Goodbye to Her Podcast
On Monday, Burke released a new episode of her podcast titled “Goodbye for Now.” She told fans that she has chosen to “pause this podcast,” adding that “there are so many opportunities and new doors opening” for the future.
Burke encouraged fans to listen to the almost 200 episodes of the podcast she has recorded, adding that by the time they finish listening, there’s a “slight chance that this podcast could come back when the next season [of DWTS] starts.” However, she doesn’t know for sure.
“It has definitely been such an incredible journey to be able to get to know the people I was lucky enough to interview through the past year,” Burke said, referring to her conversations with past DWTS celebrities, pros, and production team members.
Burke reminded fans that they can still listen to her on the I Do, Part 2 podcast and follow her on social media. She also shared the news on Instagram, writing, “My journey is just beginning, and 2025 has already been filled with new opportunities and exciting adventures which I promise to tell you about soon.”

Burke Thanks Fans for Their Support
Burke’s Sex, Lies, and Spray Tans podcast has received some backlash since it kicked off in 2023. She and her guests were not always positive when sharing their thoughts about DWTS, past and present. Notably, fellow former pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy slammed the podcast in October, telling Burke to “move on.”
In her goodbye episode, Burke said that her listeners have been “my rock, my backbone through all the controversy,” adding, “The only reason why I had continued, and that I did so with my head held high, is because of all of you, my loyal listeners.”
Burke also shared a message for her haters, encouraging them to listen to the episodes and change their minds. She emphasized how “grateful” she is for her time on Dancing with the Stars, adding that it gave her a “platform.”
