6 Celebrities From ‘The Masked Singer’ Who Competed on Other Talent Shows

As the seasons go on for The Masked Singer, the producers continue to find iconic names to unmask. We’ve seen some giant names in movies and music, but who has been unmasked from talent shows?
The Masked Singer is such a cool show because it brings celebrities from all walks of life on to one talent show. Now I do want to clarify, some of the people within this article have yet to be unmasked, but I can assure you that we will be right. Our Masked Singer detective Kyle has a flawless track record.
1. Todrick Hall
Since Bull’s first performance, we all knew this was Todrick Hall. Hall was on season nine of American Idol and has turned his love of music into a career, even without winning the series. He skyrocketed to fame on Broadway in the shows Kinky Boots, Chicago, The Color Purple, and Memphis. Since we’ve heard a lot from him vocally, it was quite obvious that he is the one behind the mask.
2. Tori Kelly
While we’re on the topic of American Idol‘s ninth season let’s talk about another cast member, Tori Kelly. This singer was on the fourth season of The Masked Singer as Seahorse. Since American Idol Kelly has gone on to make music of her own and has even won a Grammy! Her voice is extremely unique, so everyone knew it was her behind the mask.
3. Jackie Evancho
Even one of the ‘greats’ of America’s Got Talent has participated in The Masked Singer! On season three, Kitty was revealed to be child opera star sensation, Jackie Evancho. Her unmasking was purely monumental. On AGT this singer was known for her opera, but she never sang opera on The Masked Singer. This child star used the series as a way to shed her mold and become the artist that she was always destined to be.
4. Chris Daughtry
This American Idol fourth place winner was able to win second place in The Masked Singer. This rock band lead singer originally was on American Idol season five before becoming the artist we know and love today. Chris Daughtry came on to The Masked Singer and redeemed himself. Even though he didn’t win first place on The Masked Singer he was way closer than he was on American Idol.
5. JoJo Siwa
Dancing With the Stars runner up JoJo Siwa is no stranger to the world of television. She got her start on Dance Moms, which isn’t really a talent show, but it definitely prepared her for DWTS. No only has she been on DWTS, she was on The Masked Singer‘s third season as T-Rex! She wasn’t on the show for very long, but we’ll never forget the vibrant energy she brought.
6. Katharine McPhee
This American Idol fifth season runner up has yet to be unmasked on the current season of The Masked Singer. We’ve predicted that Banana Split is her and former Asia’s Got Talent judge, David Foster. This iconic duo is know for their love story following their American Idol introduction. I could go on about them all day, but instead take a look at why Kyle thinks this duo is Banana Split.
Honorable Mention: Tom Bergeron
Out of all of the talent show celebrities on the show, Tom Bergeron deserves an honorable mention. Although he’s not really a talent show celebrity, he’s known for being the former Dancing With the Stars host. In season three of The Masked Singer this beloved host was unmasked as Taco, the audience and judges swooned over the celebrity. It’s no secret, everyone loves Tom Bergeron.
