The Voice is kicking off the Season 30 live shows on Monday, and fans at home will get a peek behind the scenes with a new TikTok live show launching the same night. The show will be hosted by content creator Josh “Bru” Brubaker.
The Voice Launches New TikTok Live Show
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new companion show will be available for The Voice fans to stream live on TikTok the night of new Season 30 episodes, all the way through to the season finale. The show, hosted by Josh “Bru” Brubaker, will begin 20 minutes before the show and continue through the episodes.
This new TikTok show will be “the ultimate, unfiltered backstage pass to the high-stakes live shows exclusively on the official Voice TikTok handle.” The livestreams will feature interviews with the show’s artists and coaches, along with “rotating celebrity co-hosts.”
“From raw, unscripted emotions minutes after performances to the pulsing real-time energy of the studio, viewers won’t just watch The Voice — they’ll live it,” reads a description of the show. “They’ll be pulling back the curtain on The Voice like never before.”
As a fan of The Voice, Brubaker told THR that hosting the TikTok live show “feels almost too surreal to put into words,” adding, “I can’t wait to celebrate these incredible artists, connect with fans, and experience the magic of The Voice from a whole new perspective!”
Monday night marks the first live show of The Voice Season 30, airing on NBC at 9/8c. During the show’s first-ever Cut Week, the coaches narrowed their teams down to three artists each.
A 13th artist will be added to the lineup based on votes from viewers at home. We’ll find out which artists received the final spot in Monday’s show.
Live shows will air on Monday nights for six weeks, leading up to the Season 30 finale on December 14. This season’s celebrity coaching panel features Kelly Clarkson, Riley Green, Queen Latifah, and Adam Levine, with Carson Daly hosting.
