Chris Daughtry, Deanna Daughtry Break Silence After Daughter’s Sudden Death

Chris Daughtry‘s daughter Hannah Price was found dead in her Nashville, TN home. Both Daughtry and his wife, Deanna Daughtry have broken their silence about their daughter’s passing. They shared that the loss was “another huge hit to our family.”
On Saturday, TMZ reported that detectives have determined Hannah’s death a homicide. A source also told TMZ that Bobby Jolly, Hannah’s boyfriend, has been in Fentress County Jail since Friday. Police did not share information on the arrest, but they acknowledged that an investigation is underway.
Since finding out about Hannah’s sudden death, Daughtry (the band) has cancelled or postponed their upcoming shows. Daughtry posted that he has now lost two of the most important females in his life.
“I am still processing the last 24 hours. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken,” Daughtry wrote. “I just recently lost my mother to cancer but I was blessed with the chance to say goodbye and I was processing it privately. We never got to say goodbye to our precious Hannah and it’s another huge hit to our family.”
At the end of his caption he shared his appreciation for his fans’ kind words and condolences. He has also noted that he is taking the necessary time to heal from his recent losses. Daughtry ends his caption with how much he loves and misses his daughter.
Deanna Daughtry Shares the Family is Awaiting Autopsy Results
Deanna Daughtry broke her silence on Saturday about Hannah’s death. She shared an Instagram post that shared a key message, they had not yet received the autopsy results.
“My first born. I love you endlessly Hannah. Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah,” Deanna wrote. “We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken.”
The TMZ report went live on the same day at 11:08 a.m. They provided updates with information about Hannah’s boyfriend at 3:39 p.m. At this time Deanna has not provided an update about Hannah’s death on her personal Instagram. Before posting about waiting on autopsy results, Deanna wrote wrote a statement acknowledging that Daughtry would be cancelling or postponing their shows in the upcoming week.
At the end of her caption, she promised fans further details at a later time. At the time of this post the investigation was ongoing. On top of both Deanna and Chris Daughtry posting about this tragedy, the rock band has also shared their condolences.
Daughtry wrote a similar message on their Instagram, and have updated based off of Chris Daughtry’s recent post. They have not shared whether they will be updating with autopsy results on their page.
