Todrick Hall Slams Internet Trolls After Los Angeles Home is Burglarized
RuPaul’s Drag Race choreographer and frequent guest judge Todrick Hall was away in the U.K. when his Los Angeles home was burglarized this weekend. After landing back in America, Todrick addressed the devastating news on social media. He also called out people online who have been making light of the situation.

Law enforcement told TMZ that thieves smashed the back window of Todrick’s home to gain entry. The thieves took off with $50,000 worth of purses and designer items. After the news broke about the robbery, Todrick took to social media to give an update on the case.
“Just landed back in America to hundreds of messages and calls from my family and friends,” he wrote. “I am ok and unharmed. I’m devastated that someone would do this to me, and even more disturbed to see people celebrating and laughing about it online.”
Todrick did not receive much sympathy from Twitter users after news of his burglary broke. They mocked him for speaking out about the robbery. In 2019, Todrick faced allegations that he did not properly compensate his background dancers and personal assistant. During the scandal, Todrick leaned on RuPaul and his good friend Taylor Swift to guide him through the social media storm.
“When I wanted to go out and defend myself and say, ‘This is not true, this is not what happened, this is just a completely fabricated part of the story,’ Ru said: ‘Trust me, this will blow over, they aimed at you because you’re kind-hearted and socially conscious. They knew they’d get a reaction out of you and affect you,'” Todrick said in 2020.
Todrick Thinks the Thieves Were People From His Inner Circle
The American Idol Season 9 Semifinalist told his Instagram followers that the robbery happened less than an hour after his cat sitter left his home. All of his cats have been found and are safe. He will be going on a social media hiatus for the next few days. His post finished off with a cryptic warning.
“Be careful who you let in your close circle,” the “Attention” singer wrote. “They really will put your life and their life on the line just to steal a Louis/Gucci bag. Sad.”
In another post on Twitter, Todrick further addressed the burglary, even going as far as to say it was done by someone in his inner circle. He is “extremely saddened” that this could have been done by someone that he trusts. The LAPD is still investigating whether or not this was a targeted break-in.
