She even managed to score well for her live jazz performance to Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl” the following night, despite facing a wardrobe malfunction. Additionally, her team secured a win in the group dance round that week.
In an interview with Val, Xochitl described the incident as “scary and crazy,” referring to both the moment of injury and the appearance of her swollen ankle. However, both Xochitl and Val affirmed that they wouldn’t alter their dance routines due to the injury.
Their playful dynamic was evident during the interview, showcasing a close bond between the 17-year-old Marvel star and her 37-year-old dance partner. Val expressed his concern for Xochitl, emphasizing his responsibility for her beyond just being her dance partner.
