Why Does ‘AGT: Champions’ Judge Heidi Klum Want To Change Her Name?
Reading Time: 2 minutes
AGT: The Champions judge Heidi Klum might be appearing on the show under a new name. The supermodel married Tokio Hotel musician Tom Kaulitz earlier this year, and she reportedly wants to change her name.
According to Celebrity Insider, Heidi has filed paperwork to legally change her last name to Kaulitz. Could this affect how AGT refers to her going forward?
Heidi Klum Marries Tom Kaulitz
Heidi and Tom were reportedly legally wed in February of this year, but in August they held a wedding in Capri, Italy. At the time, Heidi posted an Instagram photo with the caption, “Mr. & Mrs. Kaulitz.” Apparently, Heidi meant that literally, as she’s chosen to change her name.
Heidi is 46 years old, and her husband Tom is 30. Heidi doesn’t see a problem with their age difference, telling InStyle, “You have to just live a happy life without worrying too much about what people think because worrying is only going to give you more wrinkles.”
It’s not clear whether Heidi intends to be known as Heidi Kaulitz professionally. We’ll probably find out soon. The second season of AGT: The Champions is set to premiere in January 2020, and it’s currently filming.
Heidi Klum Returns For ‘AGT: The Champions’
Heidi was recently announced as one of the judges for the new season of AGT: The Champions, along with Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and BGT judge Alesha Dixon. The show is currently filming, and Heidi was recently spotted arriving for a taping at Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Heidi also recently shared a few silly selfies with her fellow judges while sitting at the judges’ table. “Strike a pose,” she wrote, with several laughing emojis. It looks like she’s having a great time. We can’t wait to see Heidi return to the show after sitting Season 14 out.
