The first season of Queen of the Universe has come and gone on Paramount+. This spin off of RuPaul’s Drag Race challenged international drag queens to compete for the title of Queen of the Universe. Although lip syncing is an important skill on any Drag Race series, this show featured the queen’s singing voices.
Now that Grag Queen has been crowned as the first ever Queen of the Universe, fans are desperately waiting to hear if World of Wonder will confirm the series for another season. Did you love the international formatting of Queen of The Universe? Don’t worry, Mama Ru has your back. Beginning Feb. 1, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Vs. The World will premiere weekly on BBC three and their streaming platform BBC iPlayer.
This United Kingdom based spin off series brings nine alumni queens together to compete for the title of Ultimate Drag Race Superstar. They will definitely be faced with high stakes in the international arena. With a premiere date that’s right around the corner, the network has already confirmed both the cast and celebrity guests of the series.
Mama Ru wanted this series to be bigger than life, so she brought in huge celebrities to guest judge. Celebrity guest judges in the upcoming series include BBC radio one’s Clara Amfo; comedian and This Country star Daisy May Cooper; Bridgerton heart throb Jonathan Bailey; Little Mix member Jade Thirlwall; Spice Girl and The Voice Kids coach Melanie C; and award-winning actress Michelle Keegan. These celebrity judges will join regular judges Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton throughout the season.
On top of the guest judges, both Strictly Come Dancing finalist Johannes Radebe and pop culture icon Katie Price will be helping out during challenges.
