Britain’s Got Talent Returns This Saturday on ITV

It’s confirmed, BGT‘s pre-recorded auditions will air on our screens as per usual, this Saturday. Judging by this year’s promo (above), we can expect everything from daredevil motorbike jumps to dancing gymnasts. One user responded to the news on Twitter, saying: “I want to know why @davidwalliams was wearing protective gear and is on the floor. I will have to wait.” The promo saw Walliams on the floor in protective gear for what we expect will be a dangerous stunt.

Simon Cowell In Negotiations Over BGT Live Shows

Amid fears over the spread of the Coronavirus, major TV shows across the country are facing schedule changes. Britain’s Got Talent being one of them. The hit talent show relies on a theatre audience and it’s just not possible to continue without one. Sources close to ITV have stated that Simon Cowell is currently in talks about the possibility of moving the live shows until the winter.

“The safety of everyone involved in the show – including the audiences – is Simon’s paramount concern and if it isn’t safe the live finals will be postponed,” says one source.

Another source close to the show has made it clear that there are no disagreements between ITV and the BGT production team that ‘safety’ is of utmost importance. “Everyone will continue to monitor the situation and government advice, but ultimately Simon and everyone involved in the show will do the most responsible thing – which could mean pushing back the live shows,” says the source.

Will Season 14 Of ‘BGT’ See Any Format Changes?

Yes. Britain’s Got Talent has announced that it will no longer air spin-off show, ‘Britain’s Got More Talent‘. Producers found that the show had lost it’s touch and that they want to focus on social media content more.

To replace BGMT, ITV announced this week that ‘Britain’s Got Talent: Unseen’ will feature as the new spin-off. The show will follow a very similar format to BGMT and will be available to view exclusively online.
