The Voice Top 12 Perform Live for the First Time

A standout performance from Monday’s live show came from Nathan Chester, who is competing on John Legend’s team. Nathan showed off a retro look and an incredible stage presence as he performed “Higher & Higher” by Jackie Wilson. The crowd went wild for the performance, which closed the show.

Asher HaVon, on Reba McEntire‘s team, also wowed with his soulful cover of “I’ll Make Love to You” by Boyz II Men. Chance the Rapper said that if anyone who isn’t on his team wins the show, it should be Asher. McEntire teared up as she praised the performance.

Team Dan + Shay also impressed on Monday night, as Madison Curbelo took the stage to sing “Yesterday” by the Beatles. She showed off her gorgeous vocal abilities that choked up Shay Mooney as he talked about his time as her coach.

Karen Waldrup, also on Team Dan + Shay, delivered a stellar performance of “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack during Monday’s live show. McEntire said she was so happy for Karen, telling her, “You look spectacular, and you sang beautifully.”
