The Voice has shared an early release clip from Monday’s new episode of Season 28, featuring a Knockout between Team Niall artists Aiden Ross and Liam von Elbe. Both singers delivered emotional performances, leaving their coach with a difficult decision to make.
The Voice Early Release Knockout Features Team Niall
In the Knockouts, The Voice artists on each team are paired up to deliver separate performances. Their coach must then choose one artist to keep on their team, while the other artist is eliminated. This season, there are no saves or steals in this round.
In an early release video from Monday’s show, Team Niall artist Aiden Ross performs “When the Party’s Over” by Billie Eilish, while his teammate Liam von Elbe sings “Over My Head (Cable Car)” by The Fray. Both artists delivered emotional performances that clearly impressed the coaches.
Aiden turned four coaches’ chairs in his Blind Audition, while Liam turned two chairs. Both artists won their respective Battles, getting to stay on Team Niall and head into the Knockouts. Horan can only choose one of them to keep on his team.

What Did the Coaches Think of the Knockout?
Coach Reba McEntire called the Knockout “a very entertaining pairing,” while Michael Bublé described it as “captivating.” He joked, “Your performances were so good, I threw my pen at Niall. I threw it in anger, and a little bit of jealousy.”
Snoop Dogg told Liam that he’s “growing and growing” as an artist, adding that he was “stuck like a dump truck” during Aiden’s performance. He predicted that Aiden “could actually win The Voice.”
Horan called Aiden’s performance “a masterclass,” while telling Liam that he’s “so proud” of him. We’ll have to wait until Monday’s new episode of The Voice Season 28 on NBC to find out which artist Horan chose to keep on his team.
