The longtime Voice coach posted about his nomination on Instagram Wednesday. “Just gotta say this is unreal!!!” he wrote, thanking the Recording Academy and “those who’ve made this song what it is.”
Meanwhile, John Legend is nominated for the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album Grammy, for his Christmas album A Legendary Christmas. He’ll go up against Andrea Bocelli, Michael Bublé, Elvis Costello & The Imposters, and Barbra Streisand.
John is also nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance for his collaboration on DJ Khaled’s “Higher” with Nipsey Hussle. The singer tweeted his thanks for both nominations on Twitter. He said he was “grateful” to be featured on DJ Khaled’s song.
