The 2019 Grammys air this Sunday, and fans of The Voice have quite a few reasons to watch. Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and other current and former coaches have Grammy nominations this year. A couple of past contestants have even earned nods from the Recording Academy. It just goes to show how much talent is packed into those spinning chairs each week. Kelly Clarkson The American Idol alum and two-time winning coach on The Voice is nominated in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for her album Meaning of Life. John Legend Next season's newest Voice coach already has an EGOT, but another Grammy for the shelf wouldn't hurt. Adam Levine That's right, the Recording Academy decided to reward Maroon 5 and Cardi B for putting "Girls Like You" in your head for six months straight. Blake Shelton Technically, Blake himself isn't nominated this year, but his songwriters are. "I Lived It," off his album Texoma Shore, is nominated in the Best Country Song category. Christina Aguilera Christina, who was an original coach on The Voice, has two nominations at this year's Grammys. She and Demi Lovato are nominated for their song "Fall in Line" in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. Pharrell Williams The former coach is nominated this year for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical. Kelsea Ballerini Kelsea, who was a coach on The Voice's digital series "The Comeback Stage," is nominated for Best Country Album for Unapologetically. Nicolle Galyon You may remember Nicolle from Season 2 of The Voice, competing on Team Adam. As AXS points out, she's one of two former contestants nominated at the Grammys this year. Koryn Hawthorne Koryn was a Season 8 contestant on Team Pharrell. Alicia Keys The former Voice coach isn't nominated for any Grammys this year, but she still received a pretty big honor. Alicia is hosting the whole show! She's the first female host in 14 years. After last year's dearth of female nominees and winners, this is a refreshing change.
