‘The Voice’ Coach Blake Shelton Calls Ole’ Red in Nashville During Finale Party
The Voice coach, Blake Shelton called in to Ole Red Nashville during their Team Blake wrap party to congratulate his whole team. The finale party also served as a benefit concert for recent tornado victims.
Team Blake was in the building after The Voice finale. Ian Flanigan, Emily Ann Roberts, and Pryor Baird were all on hand to root for Shelton and raise money for victims of the recent tornados that have hit all across the midsouth.
Taking place at the legendary Ole’ Red Nashville, the event was energized with people excited to watch if their favorite “Country Boy” would win for a ninth time. Shelton surprised guests by calling in with Carson Daly after the winner was announced. He did not give too much information to fans who may have not watched the finale. Host Daly also joined in on the call to thank those who were attending the event.
Shelton Calls Former Team Blake Members Performing at Ole’ Red in Nashville
When asked who won the finale, Shelton joked that “They recounted the votes and Ian won.”
Fans of The Voice know that the trio, Girl Named Tom, was actually the Season 21 winners. Team Kelly reigned supreme, but Shelton and his team did come in both second and third place. Wendy Moten was the runner up with third place going to Paris Winningham.
Shelton showed his appreciation for those who were out spending their money and taking the time to help tornado victims.
“What a God awful thing to even be thinking about right now, but I appreciate you artists being there” the country crooner said, before wrapping up the quick video call.
The Voice will only produce one season next year. Fans are waiting to see if Shelton will return for the 22nd Season and fight for his ninth win.
