This Episode Was “Good Overall,” “a Fun Episode”
The group’s favorite contestants of the week were Mariandrea, MOS, Duo Desire, and Andrew Stanton. Mariandrea’s technical skills were so impressive, that you couldn’t help but look away, while MOS brings a new spin to instrument playing. Although MOS and Mariandrea were impressive, the top two of the night was definitely Duo Desire and Andrew Stanton. Duo Desire brought a sensual aerial act to the stage, while Andrew brought a “so good you can’t look away” danger act. Andrew’s act seriously had all four hosts screeching.
Typically, the group decides favorites and least favorites of the week, but due to this week’s format, some auditions were cut shorter than usual. Specifically, a set of dance acts, 40 pounds, Let it Happen, and The Zoo. The group agreed all of these dancers should’ve been given more on stage time, alongside magician Artem Shchukin.
The least favorite acts of the week were finger dancer Oswaldo Colina, singer Trent Toney, and country artists Presley and Taylor. The group just wasn’t impressed with these contestants. In the end, the group really only disagreed on two acts, 82nd Airborne Chorus and Simon and Cow Belles.
Corey was pretty much the only fan of 82nd Airborne Chorus and Simon and Cow Belles. Julian differed from the group, liking 82nd Airborne Chorus. Billy and Dan didn’t like the chorus because it felt like their act was mostly story, while the puppets were just underwhelming.
What We Thought of Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer
The final act of the night was autistic and blind singer Lavender Darcangelo. All of the group members agreed that Lavender’s story really was the selling factor for her, but they were truly won over by her voice. Everyone agreed that they cannot wait to see what Lavender sings in the next round of the competition. This Golden Buzzer was truly well deserved, so our hats are off to Heidi Klum.
The group predicts for both Putri and Lavender to be in the finale. These contestants are truly some of the best we’ve seen on this season, and there’s no denying that. What did you think of Heidi Klum’s Golden Buzzer? Do you think she made the right choice? Let us know down below.
