Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell are currently down under in Australia, busy with reshoots for their upcoming rom-com Anyone But You. The 26-year-old actress was spotted back on set in Sydney, Australia just hours after the conclusion of the SAG-AFTRA strike.
Sydney Sweeney, Glen Powell Reshooting Additional Scenes For Anyone But You
Anyone But You revolves around Bea, who is played by Sweeney, and Ben, played by Powell, who appear to be the perfect couple until a twist of fate cools their fiery attraction. The official synopsis teases, “So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.”
The film, set to hit theaters on December 22, has briefly resumed production to capture a few additional “beauty shots.” Despite the tight schedule, Sony Pictures seems ready to go, probably having awaited the opportunity to complete these reshoots at a moment’s notice. Powell is also in Australia, a fact he shared on his Instagram Stories.
The reshoots took place at Bondi Beach, following the resolution of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strike on November 9, 2023. Director Will Gluck expressed his excitement about the strike ending in time for the additional scenes.
