When we first saw Ryan Stock and AmberLynn Walker’s name on the lineup card for the fourth episode of Season 16, we were confused. The duo already competed on the show in 2016 where they had a scary on-stage accident. They were also brought back for AGT Champions. Why are they back again?
Simon Cowell Puts His Life on the Line in Scary ‘AGT’ Prank
Sofia Vergara goes absolutely crazy whenever a danger act is up on the stage. This act was no exception. Simon Cowell thought it would be funny to play a prank on Vergara by bringing back the most dangerous act he could think of. Everyone remembers when Ryan was shot in the neck with an arrow by AmberLynn by accident. Cowell decided they were the perfect accomplices in this prank. He is an absolute mastermind.
The act began with Ryan shooting an an arrow over his shoulder. Next, Amber used only her sense of sound while blindfolded to hit the balloon that Ryan was holding in his mouth. For the final trick, the couple called Vergara and Cowell up to the stage to assist them. They instructed Vergara to put a blindfold on and try and hit the balloon above Cowell’s head.
Meanwhile, Ryan and AmberLynn were staging an accident to make it look as if Cowell had actually been shot by an arrow. Vergara had no idea what was going on behind the blindfold. The production team put a fake arrow into Cowell’s chest. It seriously looked real. Everyone started freaking out and acting like an accident actually happened after Vergara pulled the trigger. Cowell laid on the floor with the arrow in his chest.
Vergara pushed AmberLynn out of the way. Terry Crews bent over to tend to Cowell. They called for a medic. Vergara looked terrified about the accident. Finally, Cowell revealed it was all a prank and Vergara was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Vergara promised that she will one day get her revenge. While Ryan and AmberLynn will not actually be competing this season, they definitely know how to play a good prank on the entire world.
