Horrible Stunt Accident On ‘America’s Got Talent’ Live Show (Viewer Discretion Advised)
Stuntman Ryan Stock’s act went horribly awry on America’s Got Talent Tuesday when his fiancée and partner, AmberLynn Walker, missed her mark and shot him in the neck with a flaming arrow on live TV.
As part of his quarterfinals act, Canadian stunt man Ryan Stock posed with a target in his mouth, which his fiancée, Amber Lynn Walker, attempted to shoot with a flaming arrow. What could go wrong? Walker missed, sending the arrow straight into Stock’s neck as the episode aired live.
The audience screamed in horror as Stock brushed at his neck to stop the flames. He removed the target and hunched over as stunned judges Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell watched in horror. Accidents happen on live television all the time. America’s Got Talent is used to a variety of major surprises. But in this case, it was immediately clear that the act had gone terribly wrong. The entire auditorium goes silent as Stock gasps for breath.
What Happened to Stock?
Host Nick Cannon asked Stock if he was okay, which the contestant confirmed.
“I’m okay, I’m okay, it just caught my shirt,” Stock repeated as Mandel suggested he see the show’s on-hand medical staff.
“Listen, I don’t think you are. I think what you do is wonderfully horrific…you are in pain, I imagine when we finish judging you’re going right to an EMT,” Mandel said.
Stock denied he was going to an EMT, but Mandel insists, also acknowledging that they still deserve votes. Stock and Walker confirmed that this is the first time she’d ever missed, and she’s clearly shaken.
“Why are we judging this act?” Cowell asked. “Amber just shot Ryan and he needs to go to the hospital now! I’m being serious.”
Stock’s neck was not punctured, and he insisted the arrow only caught his shirt. Unfortunately, the pair were eliminated that same week, but they have been active on social media and touring with various shows ever since. Not even a flaming arrow can stop these two!
