Did America’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell secretly marry his longtime partner Lauren Silverman? The couple has been engaged for almost four years now, but so far there has been no official confirmation of a wedding.

Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman, who share an 11-year-old son named Eric, officially got engaged over the Christmas holiday in 2021. Fans have been waiting nearly four years for the couple to tie the knot. Could they have done it in secret?
According to a recent People report, Silverman appears to have created a new, private Instagram account which features the name Cowell. Silverman apparently deleted her old account, and her new handle is @LaurenMichelleCowell. The bio reads, “Mom to Adam and Eric.”
People reports that Silverman’s friend, Lauren Sanchez Bezos (wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos), follows the new account — which serves as evidence that it’s authentic. Could this be a sign that Cowell and Silverman quietly walked down the aisle, and she has taken his last name?
The couple has yet to officially announce if they’re married. According to People, representatives for Cowell did not respond to a request for comment.

Cowell Said He Wanted a ‘Spontaneous’ Wedding
Following his engagement to Silverman, Cowell told The Sun in 2022 that he was “planning it all,” rather than using “one of these ghastly wedding planners.” He also shared, “No one knows when it’s going to be — that’ll be a surprise, even for Lauren.”
Later that same year, Cowell doubled down on the idea of a surprise wedding, saying, “I like to make everything spontaneous, and doing that will make it a lot more fun. I don’t think we’ll be getting married in Las Vegas but whatever we do, it’ll be fun.”
